Last month, a custom-designed vacuum furnace featuring a ceramic fiber chamber from Brother Furnace was successfully installed and commissioned at a client's site in Taiwan. The customer is a precision materials research company based in Taiwan, primarily engaged in the development of sintering and heat treatment processes for metal and ceramic materials. Vacuum Furnace Information

The delivered equipment is a custom-built vacuum furnace with the following key features:

Heating Elements: High-temperature MoSi₂ (molybdenum disilicide) rods, with a maximum temperature of up to 1600°C

Control System: Integrated PLC control system with a high-definition touchscreen interface, ensuring precise temperature control and data logging

Vacuum System: Equipped with both a high-performance mechanical pump and a molecular pump, capable of achieving excellent vacuum levels suitable for sintering metal and ceramic materials

On-Site Installation

Brother Furnace dispatched an experienced team of engineers to Taiwan to assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and operator training. The entire process proceeded smoothly—only two days were needed from equipment placement to the first successful heating run. On-site, our engineers worked closely with the client’s R&D team to ensure seamless integration of the furnace with existing production processes.
